Weekend camping and events on the grounds of historic Mission San Antonio de Padua
This year we will return to Mission San Antonio de Pudua (est. 1771) for our annual camping retreat and general meeting. Join us at the Mission for a weekend of fun and intriguing activities. Camping is on the Mission grounds.
The Anza Expedition will be the subject of guest speakers on Friday evening, along with musicians who will perform music of the Spanish era in California. On Saturday we plan a hike in Los Padres National Forest. Evening activities include a slide-show on the flora and fauna of California in the 1700's, followed by music and discussions around the campfire. Happy Hour Friday night and a potluck dinner Saturday eve. Optional activities include Sunday mass at the church and a docent-led tour of the mission grounds and gardens.
The cost of the facilities and events for the weekend is just $30 per person. Children 17-years or younger are free.
If you are unable to pay online, please contact Marisa Seaman at firstname.lastname@example.org or (510) 872-5341
Please Note: Desert Survivors members can attend the Sunday October 14, 2018 Annual General Meeting without taking part in the retreat and without paying any fees. Just show up at the meeting site at the appointed time to join in.
